The relationship between emotional resilience and sensation seeking academic achivement motivation of female students ofsabzevar

The aim of this study was to examine the effect of psychological hardiness on achievement motivation of female secondary schools (second grade female students). This study is fundamental in terms of purpose, correlational in terms of descriptive method. Statistical population was female secondary school (second-grade female) students in Sabzevar in 1396-97. Research tools were 3 questionnaire including Hermans achievement motivation test, Ahvaz psychological hardiness test and Zakerman sensation seeking test. The research data was analyzed by using multi variable regression and Pearson in the 21th version of SPSS... . The results showed psychological hardiness positively and sensation seeking negatively can predict achievement motivation in second grade female students in Sabzevar. There is a positive relationship between psychological hardiness and achievement motivation (r=0/354) and a negative relationship between sensation seeking and achievement motivation (r = -0/301). Meanwhile all components of sensation seeking (intense sensation seeking, searching and openness to . and experience ...) had a negative correlation with achievement motivation
