A comparative study of women's right to employment in Iranian law with an emphasis on the European Convention on Human Rights.

Women form a part of the human force in every society. Women's participation in various economic, social and other fields is considered one of the indicators of the country's production. One of the areas of transformation of social life in the new era is the changes in women's lives. These changes and developments cover a wide range from the change of social beliefs and ideas about women to the change of individual, family and social roles. Considering the development of human rights after the Second World War and considering the important position of women in the foundation of the family, the issue The right to employment of women is beyond a moral ideal and it is necessary to evaluate this right based on Iran's legal system and adapt it to the standards contained in the European Convention on Human Rights as a new document in this field. Therefore, in Iran's legal system, it has recognized the right to employment based on the rule of equality between men and women in the society, and in contrast to the European Convention on Human Rights, it has accepted the right to employment of women based on the concept of gender justice. Also, in this research, it was found that the point of commonality between Iran's legal system and the European Convention on Human Rights regarding the right to employment of women is in defining it as a responsibility of the government, which places this right in the category of positive human rights.
