Thesis:

The role of attachment style in predicting marital satisfaction and mediating self-compassion in primary school teachers in Sabzevar city.

Objective: The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the role of attachment style in predicting marital satisfaction and mediating self-compassion in primary school teachers in Sabzevar city. The statistical population of the research included all female primary school teachers in Sabzevar city in 2022-2023 in the number of 866 people, of which 270 people were selected using Morgan's table and simple random sampling method. In order to collect the required data, the attachment style questionnaire of Sandberg, Busby, Johnson and Yoshida (2012), Enrich's marital satisfaction (1989) and Neff's self-compassion (2003) were used. Research methodology: In order to analyze statistical data, correlation method and structural equation model were used with the help of Amos 24 software. Findings: Examining the results showed that there is a significant positive relationship between attachment style and marital satisfaction. There is a significant positive relationship between attachment style and self-compassion, and there is a significant positive relationship between self-compassion and marital satisfaction. Also, the mediating role of self-compassion in the relationship between attachment style and marital satisfaction was confirmed.
