Prediction of marital burnout based on psychological distress٫ expectations and marital conflicts of male secondary school teachers in Zahedan city

he purpose of this research was to predict marital burnout based on psychological distress, expectations and marital conflicts of secondary school teachers in Zahedan city. This research is a fundamental research in terms of its purpose and descriptive-correlation in terms of its research method. The research population consisted of all the male teachers of the second secondary level of Zahedan city, numbering 433 people, of which 205 people were selected using Morgan table and available sampling method. The required information was collected through Pines Marital Exhaustion Questionnaire (1996), Kessler, Andrews, Kolp, Hirpi, Murczak, Normand, and Zaslavsky Psychological Distress (2002) and Omidvar, Fatehizadeh, and Ahmadi Marital Expectations (2008). To analyze the data, Pearson's correlation test and multivariate regression analysis were used using SPSS version 24 software. The findings of the research showed that there is a significant relationship between psychological distress, expectations and marital conflicts with marital burnout (p<0.05). Also, the results showed that the variables of psychological distress, expectations and marital conflicts are able to predict marital burnout.
