nvestigating the relationship between mental health and irrational beliefs with spiritual intelligence in students Islamic Azad University, Sabzevar Branch

Abstract: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between mental health and irrational beliefs with spiritual intelligence in students of Islamic Azad University of Sabzevar. This research is of correlation type in terms of basic purpose and descriptive information collection method. The statistical population of all students of Sabzevar Azad University in the academic year 2020-2021 was 1400 people who were selected based on Morgan table and 300 available students. After informing the students about the objectives of the research, the required information was collected using a questionnaire and a total of 300 questionnaires that were completely completed were analyzed. The study method in this study was library and field and the data collection tools were Goldberg (1979) Mental Health Questionnaire, King Spiritual Intelligence Scale (2008) and Jones (1986) Irrational Beliefs Questionnaire. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. Descriptive statistics method was used to examine the mean and standard deviation, mean and mode of research variables and inferential statistics method was used to analyze research hypotheses, including Kalmogorov-Smirnov tests to check the normality of research variables, Pearson correlation coefficient and regression test. Was. Data analysis was performed using SPSS software version 23. The results showed that there is a significant direct and positive relationship between mental health and spiritual intelligence of students and also there is an inverse and negative relationship between spiritual intelligence and irrational beliefs.
