Identifying and Ranking Barriers to Strategic Thinking at Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences

Since strategic thinking is the key to the survival of today's organizations, the present study was conducted to identify and rank the barriers to adopting strategic thinking in Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences, which is descriptive / survey in terms of purpose, application and data collection tools. Be. The study population in this study was all managers and senior experts of the University of Medical Sciences, from which 25 people were purposefully selected as the sample size. In order to identify the barriers to adopting strategic thinking, 21 factors were identified through interviews. Considering the agreement with Jane Lidka's model, using those barriers in five components of strategic determination, systemic thinking, progress based on scientific approach, thinking Cleverly categorized in time and opportunism. Also, in order to rank the barriers affecting strategic thinking, the AHP hierarchical method was used.
