Studying the impact of implementing the educationalists' ranking plan on the professional qualifications of teachers in Sabzevar city in the academic year 1403-1404

This study aimed to investigate the impact of implementing the teacher ranking scheme on the professional competencies of elementary school teachers in Sabzevar during the 2024–2025 academic year. This research is applied in terms of its purpose. The statistical population consisted of all elementary school teachers subject to the ranking scheme in Sabzevar, totaling 386 individuals. Based on Morgan’s table, a sample of 181 teachers was selected using a cluster sampling method. Two researcher-made questionnaires titled “Ranking Questionnaire” and “Impact of Ranking on Professional Competencies Questionnaire” were distributed among the selected teachers. Descriptive and inferential statistical methods were used to analyze the data. Descriptive statistics were employed to examine the means and standard deviations of the research variables, and inferential statistics were used to test the research hypotheses. Due to the relatively small sample size, structural equation modeling with the partial least squares (PLS) approach was used. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS version 24 and SmartPLS version 3 software. The results indicated that, considering the significance of the t-values at the 95% confidence level, the implementation of the ranking scheme has a significant effect on the professional competencies of teachers.
