The study of lexical function in ferdowsis shahnameh

Abstract Investigating of past literary from different aspects like grammatical, literary and intellectual, make discovering unknown abilities of it. In addition to the enjoyment of literature, it provides guidance for researchers and various uses to create better works in the future. Ferdowsi's Shahnameh is one of the most prominent and valuable works in Persian literature and one of the topics that can be considere in it, is the words function that Hakim Ferdowsi has used it in his Shahnameh Skillfully. Words that have very wide meaninig range and In terms of Literally, meaning, temporally, enviromental, locative, geographically ect they look much wider than they appear. In fact we can say the range function of them is very wide. This study with using descriptive-analytical methods shows that Hakim Ferdowsi has chosen a very wide range of words meaning for transferring emotional concepts or himself has come up with highly elaborate techniques to expand meaning range.present study analyzes the words functions of Shahnameh in three levels: grammatical, literary and intellectual. The researcher is trying to represent a part of Ferdowsi's abilities and creativity that has been impressive in the Shahnameh' under standing for hundreds of years but she has not been considered yet.
