A Study of the Look of Feminism on the Rights of the Family and its Differences with the Legal System of Iran

One of the important areas of social life is the family, which has a great influence on human life, especially in women's lives, and has therefore been considered by many social thinkers and theorists. Feminist movements have also entered the area of the family with a theory of defending the rights of women against the cruelty that has been spread throughout history and about their functions in theory. The role of family in the general situation of women and its impact on power relations between two sexes, domestic violence, men's control over women in the family, the role of women in the economy and their impact on the economic system of society, the use of men from women's work, the role of government in regulating relationships Within the family, the role of the family in the reproduction of femininity and masculinity and the division of work based on gender are among the issues that have been considered in family studies and especially in feminist attitudes. One of the feminist strategies for equality between women and men was the idea of freedom and sexual revolution. Hence, emphasis was placed on issues such as the freedom of abortion, sexual relations outside the family framework and homosexuality for achieving equality. But in an ideal religious society, due to the ethical values and family-centeredness and the necessity of preserving its privacy, such actions can not be accepted by the Islamic society.
