the impact of mobile learning on Iranian EFL learner's speaking ability and their motivation :a case study of Khorana razavi

The current study investigated ?The Impact of M-Learning on Iranian Intermediate EFL Learner’s Speaking Skill?. Thus for this purpose, 70 male and female with age ranges 18 -25 who were studying in English institute, Iran took part in this study. The participants were assigned to two homogeneous proficiency tests of an Oxford Placement Test (OPT). The participants whose scores were within one standard deviation above and below the mean score were selected as participants of the study who were around 50 persons. The participants were divided in two groups: experimental and control. However, some materials selected and given to the learners as text books and were taught them like AF1 (American File book one) and practice the listening, videos and the related exercises through mobile phone. On the second group the learners read the same book, too but they just sufficed the classroom and paper pencil class and listening to the materials in the class and their Desktop Commuter Finally, at the end of the course and after about 8weeks, participants sat for the posttest. Finally, Findings revealed that there was a significant effect of using M-learning on their oral performance. Moreover, it was found that the class with M-learning outperformed the class learned and practiced traditionally.
