examining ethical and educational cosiderations in Roze-ye-khold.

Dealing with the ethical and educational issues have been of special concern for the Persian language poets and writers. They have made every attempt to direct the society from the vulgarism to the righteousness and deliverance. Among them, Majd Khawafi, the 8th century (A.H.) proficient poet and writer of the book: "Rawda Al-Khold" (Paradise of Eternity) is of particular importance. Rawda Al-khold which has been written in eighteen chapters contains the anecdotes written in a style similar to Golistan of Sa'di wherein the writer has made an effort to narrate the anecdotes while considering the ethical vices and virtues plus guiding the reader away from any vices as persuading him to follow virtues. This dissertation has been compiled in three chapters in which other than introducing the writer and his book, i.e. Rawda Al-khold and its ethical and educational content, takes a look at the methods of focusing on the principles of ethics as applied in the aforementioned book as well as comparing Majd Kawafi with the poets before him. Generally speaking, this study intends to introduce the unknown dimensions of the education and ethics in Rawda Al-khold to the reader
