Shahnameh dialogue rulers and kings for analysis, dialogue, structure and psychology

T?r?kh-i Bayhaq? is one of the most prominent works of Farsi prose. Although it is considered a historical text, author's skill to tell history using a literary and artistic approach put this valuable and venerable text into the field of literature. Researchers analyzed the book regarding different historical and literary aspects since it is has multiple features. One prominent dimension of T?r?kh-i Bayhaq? which hasn't been dealt with good enough is the analysis of effective and outstanding dialogues in it. These dialogues become very important especially when they are raised by prominent individuals such as kings, princes and rulers. The reason for such importance is that the great men of Ghaznavid court had a certain obsession to show distinguished behaviors from others. Therefore, distinctive indicators are highly used in their linguistic actions and that Abu'l-Fadl Bayhaq? as a clever creative author was very critical and accurate regarding available speeches. The current thesis studied and analyzed such story elements from both structural and psychological dimensions regarding importance of the rulers’ dialogues in the conceptual process of T?r?kh-i Bayhaq?. Moreover, this paper found outstanding examples of the text book.
