This study has been developed aims to familiarize the reader with artistic techniques and methods of trickery and contrivance in Shahnameh. Tricks and strategies that employed by various characters in Shahnameh that has been written by the mighty pen of Toos Hakim so that one of the artistic aspects of Shahnameh is techniques resourcefulness, contrivance, sorcery and Tricks in wars and etc. There are two different aspects of Shahnameh tricks; this means that sometimes used to get rid of a great danger and the positive side is usually done by positive and good character that in this thesis is mentioned by name contrivance, but sometimes this trick had been considered to disturb the situation and deceiving others by bad forces and demons and evil people that is named trickery. This study is divided into three main parts, The first part covers three seasons as generalities, The second part has investigated Ferdowsi and Shahnameh and Shahnameh trick is investigated in the third part. Generally these strategies and of trickeries are divided into seven categories; which are known as trickery of kings and princes, heroes, ministers and advisers, wives and slave girls,astronomers, animals and supernatural forces and has been expressed ways of using them.
