The effect of herbicide residues wheat on sunflower yield

To evaluate the effect of different herbicide residual Total and Othello OD on yield and yield components of sunflower, A factorial trail based randomized complete block design with 3 replications, in a farm located in the city of Sabzevar Delqand of functions in 2015, was performed. Experimental treatment were type herbicide (Total and Othello OD) and five simulated soil residual concentration of Othello OD (0, 50%, 75%, 100% and 125% recommended dose). The results indicated that type herbicides had significant difference on economic and biological performance. So that economic and biological yield were observed in herbicide Othello. In contrast, according to the results, there was no significant differences between the type of herbicide on the plant height, weight head, head diameter, seed weight per head, number of seeds per head and harvest index. About with difference concentration herbicides, applicacion of 50 and 75 percent recommended dose of herbicide Othello was significant increase in plant height, shoot dry weight, head weight, head diameter, seed weight per head, number of seeds per head, biological and seed yield of sunflower compared to the 100 percent recommended dose of herbicide. However with an increase of 25 percent recommended dose of herbicide reduced all measured indices. According to the sensitivity sunflower to the herbicides Othello is not rotation with wheat.
