Preventive solutions from the occurrence of social damage from the perspective of criminology

Prevention is one of the practical and very important topics in all sciences, including criminology. This branch of criminology tries to prevent the occurrence of crime by providing preventive measures and solutions while examining the factors (situational and social) of the criminal phenomenon. This policy is aimed at all direct and indirect measures and solutions to prevent the occurrence of crime and deviation and social damage, and for this reason, it is a prior policy that is opposed to all types of punishments and protective and educational measures, which is a posteriori policy. . Prevention, as a prior policy, is more efficient, effective, and highly effective, as well as socially, economically, and culturally beneficial, compared to posterior policy or criminal prevention, which uses severe forms of punishment for a long time. This research has been done with the aim of investigating preventive solutions from the occurrence of social damage from the perspective of criminology and descriptive and explanatory method. The results showed that legal provisions and new institutional capacity building, the judicial system has not yet been fully successful in preventing crimes. Achieving this goal requires the use of systemic and communication strategies of this research, as well as security and economic strategies to dry up crime-causing platforms, as well as other strategies that require another research
