The use of nettle extract in reducing the microbial load of milk collected in Bojnord city

The presence of bacteria in milk and causing diseases has always been a concern. Milk is one of the food products that get infected with bacteria very quickly and cause this product to be destroyed. Therefore, researchers in this field try to find solutions to prevent or reduce these problems by using research in this field. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to use nettle extract to reduce the microbial load of milk collected in Bojnord city. Samples were randomly taken from 15 milk collection centers, 15 traditional livestock farms and 15 milk tankers. All the samples were taken by the expert sampler inside the corresponding sterile glass jars and transferred to the laboratory of North Khorasan Veterinary Department in the shortest possible time. The findings showed that adding nettle extract to milk has a significant effect on reducing the microbial load of milk collected in Bojnord city.
