Comparative Study of the Crimes of Unauthorized Extraction of Digital Currency in Iranian Criminal Law and International Law

Digital currencies are a new phenomenon that is extracted and transferred on the Internet using new technologies. Decentralization, cross-border, anonymity of users, encryption and irreversibility of transactions are the features that make the use of virtual currencies in criminal activities the focus of criminals. In late 2008, with the growth of technology and the expansion of cyberspace, a phenomenon known as the cryptocurrency "Bitcoin" was introduced to the world and became popular. Although the extraction of virtual currencies has spread in Islamic countries and Iran, there are still religious ambiguities regarding the legitimacy and legitimacy of the resulting income. The process of bitcoin production and processing of bitcoin transactions is called extraction or mining. The bitcoin network is decentralized, and thousands of computers and mining machines around the world are responsible for processing transactions and generating new bitcoins. Mines or miners receive bitcoins for their activities. Receiving this reward motivates miners to monitor, support and legalize the support network; Which is part of the task of extractors and is distributed among them around the world and can not be called a centralized network controlled by an organization.
