Investigating the Position of Feminism in the Development of International Family Law Regulations

In today's societies, one of the most important and influential factors in the field of social and economic progress is the level of active presence of women in society and how they play their roles in various fields. Today, the rights of individuals, even in the territory, are influenced by international opinion and documents. The present study, which has been conducted in a descriptive manner with the collection of library information and fish-taking tools, tries to examine the dimensions of feminism in the field of international family law. According to the material presented in this dissertation, it seems that the logical and useful dimensions of feminism have been well reflected in international documents. Men and women have equal rights when it comes to issues related to marriage and divorce, in line with feminist ideas in international instruments. As for financial law, international instruments have protected women's right to employment and their financial rights in the family. But despite international slogans regarding equal rights for men and women, this cannot be considered universal. Because most of the financial and non-financial rights of women are rooted in customary and religious rules in different countries, it is not possible to strike such a balance between the rights of men and women.
