Marriage of girls under thirteen from jurisprudence and low

A child spouse is a formal or informal marriage in which a person enters into a marriage contract before the age of 18, which is one of the social and abnormal problems of our time, which is considered as a kind of violation of children's rights. This type of marriage affects both sexes, but girls are more vulnerable and suffer severe injuries and complications. Although numerous studies have shown the numerous harms of the phenomenon of child marriage, this phenomenon is common in some parts of the country. The occurrence of underage and child marriage, which in international conventions covers the age of 18, is a phenomenon that occurs in most underdeveloped and traditional societies. The present study uses a descriptive-analytical method in two chapters to reflect on the jurisprudence and legal system of Iran and analyzes the phenomenon of child marriage and its relationship with child abuse and also critically examines the supportive role of the legislator in the phenomenon of child marriage.
