بررسی فقهی و حقوقی استعانت خداوند برترک محرمات و انجام واجبات
حقیقت استعانت این است که انسان از کسی طلب کمک و یاری بجوید، اما استعانت از خدا به مقتضای این آیه که حصر کرده استعانت را در خدا، یعنی اینکه انسان فقط از خدا مدد بجوید و نه غیر، همان حصری که در «ایاک نعبد» استفاده می‌شد، استعانت فقط باید از او باشد و از غیر او معنا ندارد، وقتی موجوی عالم را ربوبیت می‌کند، معنا ندارد استعانت از غیر صورت بگیرد، پس استعانت محصور در خداوند است، لذاست که در بعضی از آیات وارد شده «والله المستعان»، تنها خدا مستعان است و تنها او معین است.
استعانت به خداوند به این معناست که فقط خدا باید مستعان باشد و دیگران به هیچ وجه مستعان نباشند و اگر چیزی هم به عنوان مستعان واقع می‌شود، این را باید توجه کرد که استقلالی نیست، هرچیز دیگری اعم از امور مادی و معنوی واسطه استعانت از خداوند هستند
معنای استعانت به خداوند این نیست که گوشه خانه بنشینیم و اگر مشکل یا مریضی پیش بیاید، بگوییم: خدایا من فقط از تو کمک می‌خواهم و دیگر سراغ درمان و دکتر و حل مشکل نرود، معنای استعانت حقیقی این است که بداند کمک کار واقعی کیست و بداند اگر به سراغ دیگران هم می‌رود آنها در حقیقت واسطه خدا و ابزاری هستند که خدا به وسیله آنها می‌تواند به ما کمک کند. پس برای ترک گناهان و انجام واجبات نیز باید به مستعان واقعی یعنی خداوند رجوع و از ایشان طلب مغفرت نمود.
