Investigating the Impact of Basic Skills of School Administrators in Salehabad City with the Implementation of Strategic Programs

In this study, the effect of the fundamental skills of school principals in Salehabad city on the implementation of strategic plans has been investigated. This study was classified as a descriptive-survey research in terms of its applied purpose and nature. The statistical population of this study was all school principals in Salehabad city in the academic year 1403-1404. The total number of the statistical population was 153 people, and 153 people were selected as a sample by counting all of them. The data required for this study is a researcher-made questionnaire with five sections and 30 questions, which is designed based on the Likert scale. The reliability coefficient of the questionnaires using the Cronbach's alpha method was obtained to be more than 0.7, which indicates appropriate reliability, and the validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by the content validity method. Data analysis was performed using PLS software. The results of the study showed that the fundamental skills of managers (including technical, cognitive, and human skills) play a significant and direct role in the effectiveness of implementing strategic plans in schools. Especially in educational contexts of less privileged regions such as Salehabad, the capabilities of managers in these three areas can be considered as a key factor in achieving educational transformational goals. Therefore, developing and strengthening the fundamental skills of managers should be considered as one of the central strategies in regional educational policy-making and planning.
