The effect of selected elementary school games on motor intelligence and executive functions in male students of the first year of elementary school

The present study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of selected elementary school games on motor intelligence and executive functions in male students of the first grade of elementary school. In the present study, a quasi-experimental research method (pre-test-post-test design with a control group) was used. The statistical population included all male students of the first grade of elementary school in Zabarkhan County, who had referred to the counseling center and psychiatric clinic of Zabarkhan County during the study period and in 1402-1403. The research sample also included 30 male students of the first grade of elementary school in Zabarkhan County, who were selected from among those who referred to the counseling center and clinic of Zabarkhan County and were assigned to two experimental groups (15 people) and control group (15 people) by simple random assignment. To collect data, researcher-made motor intelligence questionnaires (1390) and executive functions brief (2000) were used. Also, selected elementary school games (taken from the book Class Games by Farzaneh Bayat-Tark, 2013) were played on the experimental group. Analysis of covariance test was used to analyze the data. The results of the study showed that selected elementary school games have an effect on motor intelligence and executive functions in first-year elementary school male students
