: Public culture reflection on historical hits of Sadegh Hedayat (Alavieh Khanum-se Ghatre Khoon and Boofhoon and Boof Koor and…)

Sadegh Hedayat was one of the first authors and researchers who had good information about Iranian public culture. He researched about public culture (Folklore) and also used these elements in his stories. His stories are the most important part of his hits and are as one of cultural examples which are showing many components of public culture. By evaluating and studying of them, it is possible to get known about Iranian beliefs and cultural histories. In this thesis, I’m going to evaluate aspects of public culture (Folklore) in some Hedayat’s stories and evaluate the way of components application in his stories. For this case after discussing about public culture (Folklore) and talk about its details, territories and story definition, I divided these components in Hedayat’s stories to four parts including: customs and beliefs, public poems, proverbs and public language; and extracted it’s examples from Hedayat’s text stories and explained them. Finally I presented statistical tables and figures. In this thesis the stories were used which has more examples about public culture and folkloric components.
