In this research, we intend to examine the criminalization of cryptocurrencies, its challenges and solutions in Iran's criminal law. Since the discussion related to the use of cryptocurrencies is highly welcomed due to their global nature and has a positive effect on economic issues, it is of great importance. The main goal of this research is to know the criminalization of cryptocurrencies and the challenges and solutions related to it. The research method is descriptive and analytical, and library tools were used to collect the materials. Finally, according to the presented materials, it can be said that currently many advanced countries have given a legal face to the activity of cryptocurrencies, it should be noted that it is impossible to completely prevent crime in all technologies, but efforts should be made so that criminals do not prioritize cryptocurrencies and obstacles There is a lot in front of them. Cryptocurrencies must become an unsafe place for criminals. It is necessary that people interested in crypto-currencies help to enforce the law and educate it. One of the good features of cryptocurrencies from a law enforcement point of view is that it is possible to track all transactions of a particular cryptocurrency address with its details, this helps law enforcement to find clues to the criminal. Solving the challenges raised in connection with the criminalization of cryptocurrencies is not a very complicated and difficult task. By solving these challenges, the field of using cryptocurrencies and improving economic conditions can be optimally provided.
