Influence of the plan of education improvement ambassadors on the academic progress and self-confidence of boys elementary school students in Sabzevar city

This study aims to investigate the effect of the Education Improvement Ambassadors project on the academic progress and self-confidence of elementary school boys in Sabzevar city. The population consisted of elementary school boys in city of Sabzevar during the academic year of 1401-1402. A sample of 60 students was selected using available sampling. The participants were divided into two groups: one group of 30 students received training with the Education Improvement Ambassadors plan, while the control group of 30 students received training in the normal manner. To assess self-confidence, the self-confidence questionnaire compiled by Azadi in 2009, based on Smith et al.`s model, was distributed among the two groups. And academic progress was measured using the grade point average (GPA) obtained over two semesters. The results revealed that the Education Improvement Ambassadors project had a significant impact on the academic progress and self-confidence of elementary school boys in Sabzevar city.
