RELATION BETWEEN THE INCIDENT TO THE OLD FROM THE HAJI SABZEVARI AND EBN-E-SINA'S POINT OF VIWE

Logic maxims and principles proved in philosophy are used as a basis for philosophical deductions and issues (problems). They are used as foundations to prove some philosophical problems, and to reveal the invalidity of fallacious arguments. Although these principles and maxims have been a considerable asset in the development of philosophical problems, viewed from another perspective, they can create so many problems to which philosophers have devoted much time. These problems have either been solved, or have lead to long lasting issues over which there is still controversy. From one hand , our philosophers accept these definite maxims and principles. From the other hand, they have to be cautious about their requirements and deductions. One of these problems derived from such principles is the relation of the past to the old (Rabet-e-hades-be-ghadim). In this regard, some definite philosophical principles are mentioned first. Then, the problem of the relation the past to the old, and the problem of the relationship between the constant and the variable, both of which are derived from such principles, are discussed from the perspective of Haj Molla Hadi Sabzevari and Avicina.
