The Effect of Peace Education on the Aggression and Responsibility of Secondary School Students in Sabzevar

One of the most important goals of education is to socialize students, to prepare them for active and productive participation in social life, to gain awareness of and benefit from their social rights and to respect the rights of others and to work with others in society. One of the ways students tend to engage in social activities and decision-making is their participation in peer groups and councils in schools. Also, since aggression and aggressive behavior have undesirable effects on one's inner state and consequently on interpersonal relationships, on the other hand, the ability to communicate effectively with others, leads to desirable growth and development of personality. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of peace education on aggression and social responsibility of male students of elementary school in sixth grade of Sabzevar city. The results show that peace education has a significant effect on students' aggression and responsibility.
