The relationship between moral development and educational enthusiasm with the education improvement amongst sabzevar high-school girls students

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between moral development and academic enthusiasm with the academic achievement of high school female students. The statistical population of this study is all female high school students in Sabzevar during 2017-2018 academic year, and their number is 700. A sample of this research was selected using simple random sampling method and 250 people were selected using Krejcie and Morgan table. The research instrument consisted of two questionnaires: Dr. Hossein Lotf Abadi's Moral Development Questionnaire and Vigga Student's Excitement Questionnaire. Students were evaluated for their students' academic achievement. Data were analyzed by multivariate regression and Pearson correlation coefficient using SPSS version 23. The results showed that moral development and academic enthusiasm can predict academic achievement in secondary school girls in Sabzevar. In moral development and its components, because the level of significance is less than 0.05, there is a significant relationship with the academic grade. Of course, in its components, this is a negative relationship. Also, a significant level of academic enthusiasm and some of its components is less than 0.05. Therefore, the first part of the hypothesis, namely, the correlation of academic enthusiasm with the average grade, is confirmed and only part of the second hypothesis is confirmed
