studying the relation of teachers jop attachment and religious commitment to educational performanceof j unior high school students in sabzevar

The purpose of the present research was to study the relationship between job-involvement and religious commitment of teachers with academic performance of secondary students of Sabzevar. it was a descriptive-correlation research and include 357 secondary students and their teachers in 2017-18 and they were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling. Data were obtained by job involvement questionnaire of Kango (1982), religious commitment scale of Wartingon et al. (2003) and academic average of students. Findings were analyzed by SPSS software and multi-uni variate regression analysis test. The results showed that regression model is significant for predicting academic performance from job involvement and religious commitment. According to the results it is observed that job involvement and religious commitment explains 11.7 percent of academic performance variance (p<0.01). also, the results show that religious commitment predict academic performance in positive direction (p<0.01, ?=0.28) and also job involvement predict academic performance in positive direction (p<0.01, ?=0.187). the results show the importance of job structures of teachers such as job involvement and religious commitment on academic performance of students. So, attention toward job properties of teachers, specifically in secondary school, is important due to the nature of that job and its effects.
