Association of CYP۲۴A۱ gen poly morphism and lack of vitamin D in talented people

Vitamin D or Cholecalciferol is a group of fat-soluble secosteroids responsible for increasing intestinal absorption of calcium, magnesium, and phosphate, Helps to grow and strengthen the bones. The prevalence of vitamin D deficiency, especially in Iranian women and children, is between 50% and 80%. In adulthood deficiency of this vitamin in the body causes a disease called osteomalacia or osteoporosis. The CYP24A1 gene provides instructions for making an enzyme called 24-hydroxylase. This enzyme helps control the amount of active vitamin D available in the body. Single -nucleotide polymorphism is a synonym for SNP, which is called Snnip, a change in the DNA sequence that differs in a nucleotide (A, C, G, T) in a genome between individuals of a biological species or between a pair of chromosomes in a person. In this article، snp in the CYP24A1 gene was studied. The method of testing and identifying polymorphism in this experiment was performed using the tetra arms pcr technique and the sequencing technique was confirmed.
