Love and non-violence in Shahnameh

Ferdowsi's Shahnameh, is the Book of advice and wisdom, though in appearance and at first seems to be a war book. It is true that many wars in this valuable book has been depicted, but reading between the lines of these wars and in any place that the writer considers good speaks about love and avoiding violence and discourages people from the conflicts. Wars in this work are happened only for providing peace and reconciliation justified in the perspective of Ferdowsi. The present thesis is composed in an introduction and three chapters: Introduction, including findings, the importance and necessity of research and etc. The first chapter includes generalities of research. The second chapter presents different types of love in Shahnameh such as love to parents, grandchild, and country. The third chapter includes avoiding violence and war against Iran and even Turan and Romans in Shahnameh. Piran Vise also asks Rostam to stop fighting and at last the conclusion is presented in this chapter
