study of microbial and chemical characteristics of bottle water distributed in sabzevar

Abstract Thesis (Including the summary, goals, procedures and results): Water as divine blessing, a critical issue in sustainable development and reduction of povery, Hunger, a healthy environment and industrial and economic development and the necessity for human health. In recent years, packed water consumption has increased despite associated of the cost for family.Considering the necessity of health of water, in this research 5 brands selected randomly of distributed brands in Sabzevar. And it measured of the PH, total hardness, calcium hardness and magnesium hardness that according to the obtained results all the water were negative to coliform existence. And evaluated water with PH meter showed that although PH of the water was in the standard range but their entries on bottles be seen with obvious differences. In evaluated by quantity of calcium and magnesium to were seen obvious differences from the numbers on bottles.And in all the samples, the quantity of calcium and magnesium was more than the standard. Also in a sample the quantity of total hardness was more than double of the numbers on bottles. Based on the carbonate the total hardness In all samples was within standard limits
