The nature of social life has changed as a result of the Covid disease epidemic. Due to the fact that in different countries, including Iran, restrictions on social distancing, such as restrictions on attendance at community, restrictions on work activities and guidelines for staying at home, were created, so the prevalence of Covid 19 disease and social distance, extent and distribution are expected. Crime and disorder have changed. According to paragraphs A and C of Article 291 of the Islamic Penal Code regarding carriers of deadly diseases, if a person is a carrier of deadly diseases such as coronavirus, and knowing that he is a carrier of the coronavirus without intent to kill or through negligence Like not following the health procedures, it causes the virus to be transmitted to person A. The crime of quasi-premeditated murder has been committed and the perpetrator is the guarantor of the blood money. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the effects of Covid 19 on the variable (increase or decrease) of crimes committed in the United States and Iran. The findings confirm that the prevalence of Covid disease and the social order of social distancing have changed the patterns of daily activities and the opportunity structures created as a result of these changes have changed the crime rate in both Iran and the United States. These findings highlight the need for awareness of the increased risk of domestic violence, especially child abuse during outbreaks, the need to strengthen education on how to respond more effectively and safely to social violence requests, encourage domestic violence reporting, and provide opportunities for faster reporting of domestic violence.
