The relationship between emotion control and academic procrastination with the educational hopes of Sabzevar students in secondary elementary school

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between emotion control and academic procrastination with academic hope of second grade students in Sabzevar. In terms of applied purpose and in terms of research type, it is considered as a descriptive correlational type. The statistical population of this study consisted of all second grade students of Sabzevar elementary school in 2020 including 4315 students. Multistage cluster sampling method was used for sampling and the sample size was 353 based on Cochran formula, the data collection tool was Snyder's Academic Hope Questionnaire (2002), Lee Procrastination Questionnaire and Garnevsky Emotion Control Questionnaire (2001). In this thesis, descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data, which in descriptive analysis, frequency distribution tables, diagrams, averages, range of variations, etc. were used. The results showed that emotion control is related to academic hope of second grade students in Sabzevar elementary school and academic procrastination is related to academic hope of second grade students in Sabzevar.
