A comparison of self - confidence and Academic Tendency in Male٫ Junior Highschool students٫ of sabzevar٫ Interested in Essay-type &Obgective Tests

The present study aimed to compare self confidence and academic among high school male students interested in in-depth and objective tests in Sabzevar city. This research is comparative in terms of the causal type descriptive method and it is in terms of applied purpose. The statistical population of the study was high school students in Sabzevar. Of these, 120 (60 people interested in essay-type tests - 60 interested in objective tests) were selected through multi-stage cluster sampling. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistics using spss version 21 software. At the descriptive statistics level, statistical characteristics of frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation, and inferential statistics, independent t-test and variance analysis were used. Regarding the statistical results, there is a significant difference between at least one of the variables of self- confidence and academic satisfaction in the two groups who are interested in essay type and objective tests. Students interested in student exams had higher levels of self- satisfaction than students who were interested in objective tests. This difference was significant, as well as students interested in examinations of higher academic readiness than students interested in essay type testing Obviously, this difference is significant.
