Corporate Governance, Intellectual Capital, Company Value and Financial Performance

Nowadays, the subject of intellectual capital has become a topic where the focus is on empirical research and case studies; whereas in the 1990s and earlier it was more of a conceptual discussion of intellectual capital and perceptions existing in This field was studied. This research attempts to measure and test the relationship between the characteristics of the board of directors, intellectual capital, performance and the value of the listed companies in Tehran Stock Exchange. The present statistical population is 142 companies and the period from 2010 to 1395 have been. The research is quasi-experimental research. Also, considering the results of the research to solve a particular problem or subject, the purpose is applied and in the method is correlation analysis with the regression approach in the software environment, Eviews is calculated. In There are 12 hypotheses in this study and the following results were observed: 1. There is a positive and direct correlation between the independence of the board of directors and intellectual capital, but there is a negative relationship between the managerial period and the intellectual capital. 2. There is a negative relationship between the CEO's duality and intellectual capital, but there is a negative relationship between the dichotomy and the CEO's and company's performance. 3. There was a positive relationship between the independence of the board of directors and the performance of the company, and between the CEO and the company's performance. 4. There is a positive and direct relationship between the board's independence and the value of the company, but there is a negative relationship between the CEO's tenure and the company's value. 5- There is a negative relationship between the CEO's and the company's value, but there is a positive and direct relationship between the company's performance and the company's value. 6. There was a positive and direct relationship between intellectual capital and the performance of the company, and between the intellectual capital and the value of the company. Overall, the results of the research show that there is a significant relationship between the characteristics of the board of directors, intellectual capital, the performance and the value of the listed companies in Tehran Stock Exchange, and all the research hypotheses have been confirmed. Consistent with theoretical foundations and past research.
