Studying Entrepreneurial Capabilities and Student Entrepreneurship Educational Needs in Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences

This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the status of entrepreneurial capabilities and educational needs of students in Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences. The present research is a descriptive-survey research in terms and an applied research in the purpose. The statistical population in this study are students of Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences who are 1720 people. For this purpose, 314 of them were randomly selected and the research questionnaire was distributed among them. The questionnaires used in this research include Entrepreneurial Capabilities questionnaire from Mardanshahi and Dolati (2015) and entrepreneurship training needs questionnaire from Rezaei et al. (2012). To analyze the data in this study, T-test, T independent groups, Fridman and ANOVA were used with SPSS19 software. The results of the analysis of the hypothesis of the research showed that: 1) entrepreneurial capabilities and its components among students of Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences are desirable. 2) The most important educational needs of entrepreneurship in Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences students is entrepreneurship knowledge. Subsequently, the components of general skills, rules and regulations, business plan development, job competencies and management skills were placed in the next priorities. 3) There is no significant difference between the status of components of entrepreneurship capabilities and entrepreneurship education needs among different groups in terms of gender, age, grade, field of study, academic level, year of entry, type of faculty.
